Covidien adult diapers, Wings briefs, and other cartons

A man about 66 wipes a car windshield in a driveway.

Covidien adult diapers is the search when an institutional tape brief ran out and the carton might have said Wings, Choice Plus, or Super Quilted instead of a plain supplier name. Those are different titles. A protective underwear listing in the same search is a pull-on. A chux, an underpad, or a bladder control pad is not a brief at all. These notes have no price, waist, count, or dimension for any of those Covidien or Wings products. Match the words on the last carton to the words on the new title.

The brief you are probably replacing uses tape or tabs at the hips. That is what makes a bed change possible without pulling a waistband to the ankles. Pull-on underwear in the same catalog has to be stepped into. If the person you buy for cannot do that, the pull-on is the wrong carton even when the supplier matches. Pull-up underwear or tabbed briefs is the style choice. Quilted, on Super Quilted and on other bags, describes the outer cloth. The size and the absorbency grade still have to be printed on that line.

Choice Plus and Super Quilted should stay as separate reorders until a listing says they are the same garment. Do not guess which one holds more. The page has to name the line and say what it claims. SureCare shows up in this search beside bladder control pads. Read whether that tile is a pad or a brief before you add it. A pad replaces a pad. It does not replace the tape brief that was on the body. The format split is in pads, underwear, and briefs.

Underpads and disposable bed pads are the flat cartons. A size such as 30 by 36 in the search is only a hint from an old case. The new page still has to print the inches. If it does not, you do not have a size. Bed pads in general are covered in bed pads and mattress covers, and disposable versus washable is in disposable underpads and washable bed pads.

Institutional size charts are their own tables. Measure where the tabs will land and use only the chart on the page you are buying. How to use a size chart is the method. Another facility brand’s large is not this large. If the last case said Cardinal, this search is the wrong supplier. When you cannot measure this week, see buying a size when you cannot measure in person. Gaps and red marks are in signs the size is wrong.

Line name, then closure

Photograph the carton. You want Wings or the supplier name, Choice Plus or Super Quilted if either was printed, briefs rather than underwear or underpads, and the size. How to reorder for a parent is that step when an adult child is placing the order. A tile that says only the supplier can be any of those cartons.

On the tape brief, look for refastenable tabs versus one-time tape. Refastenable tabs can be pressed again if the fit shifted. One-time tape cannot. Refastenable tabs and one-time tape is the comparison. Absorbency words stay on the bag that printed them. What absorbency labels actually say is why Super on one line is not maximum on another. Divide price by count only after both numbers are on the live page. Price per piece, not price per pack keeps a large case from looking cheap when the piece is not.

A bed pad and a tab brief that print numbers

Nothing in the Covidien or Wings names has a price in these notes. One flat pad and one tab brief do, so you can see the two listings you might confuse.

Medline Ultrasorbs disposable bed pads, 30 by 36 inches, 70 count, showed $121.00 when this article was written. Check Amazon before you pay. That size is printed on the Medline page only. Seventy into $121.00 is about $1.73 a pad while the price holds. The pad is for a mattress or another surface, not a garment. See Medline Ultrasorbs bed pads. If you needed 30 by 36, this page actually says so. A Wings or Covidien underpad still has to say so on its own listing.

LivDry EnduraDry Max with tabs, medium, 16 count, showed $42.99 when this article was written. Check Amazon. The listing says up to 12 hours, and the bullets call the cloth latex-free and breathable. It is a tab brief from a different brand. Sixteen into $42.99 is about $2.69 each if the price stays. It shows what a tape-style listing looks like when the count and the closure are visible. Wings and Super Quilted stay on their own titles. The note is LivDry tab briefs.

If the old carton was a tape brief, the Medline pad will not finish a change, and the LivDry medium fits only if that chart says so. If it was an underpad, skip the briefs and make the new title print the inches.
