A simple monthly supply list

A monthly supply list is a note of what ran out, written in pack counts you can search. Adults who shop for themselves can make the note on the fridge. Adult children who order once a month can make it from a photo of the shelf and a photo of the empty packs.

Write the brand, the format, the size line, and how many packs you opened. If you opened one 26-count and still had a few pieces on the day you shop, the next order might be one pack again. If you opened two, write two. The list changes when the month changes. A copied list from a website will not know that.

Lines that belong on the note

The worn product is the first line. For a women’s pull-on, Depend Fresh Protection, XL, 26 count, waist 45-54 inches, had a recorded price of $23.48. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. One line on the note could read “Depend Fresh Protection, women, XL, 45-54, one pack of 26.” Prevail Daily Protective Underwear, unisex, Large, 64 count as four packs of 16, waist 44 to 58 inches, had a recorded price of $53.67. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. That line is different: one case is 64 pieces, shipped as four inner packs. If the household uses this product, write down the whole 64-count case, or another inner pack of 16 if one of those is still open. Check the Amazon listing before buying; its price, count, and size may have changed since this article was written.

Pads and guards get their own lines if they are actually used. Poise Incontinence Pads, maximum, long, 64 count, length listed at 14.3 inches, individually wrapped. The recorded price was $46.95. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. Depend Guards for Men, maximum, 104 count, pocket-sized pouches. The recorded price was $33.99. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. A household that uses one of these does not need both lines. A household that uses neither should not add them because the pack looks large.

Wipes are the second line for most people who change away from a bathroom at home. FitRight Personal Cleansing Wipes with Aloe, unscented, 8 by 10, 816 count, recorded at $36.99, is a case. The page calls them pH-balanced, hypoallergenic, and alcohol-free. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. McKesson StayDry, 50 wipes, large, with aloe, alcohol-free, had a recorded price of $20.39. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. That is a single pack. The 12-pack of that wipe, 600 washcloths, had a recorded price of $38.75. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. That is the case version. Pick the pack that matches how fast the last one disappeared. If a 50-count lasted all month, the case is optional.

One order from the note

Put the note next to the cart and add only those lines. A bed pad is a line if the bed already has one. Medline Ultrasorbs disposable pads, 30 by 36 inches, 70 count, with a non-liquid-permeable backsheet, had a recorded price of $121.00. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. PRIVA washable underpad, 17 by 22 inches, one pack, had a recorded price of $9.65. Amazon showed that recorded price when the article was written. It is a small pad beside that 70-count carton. If the bed uses the small washable pad, the $121 carton is a different product. Write the size you already own.

After the order arrives, mark what came in and what the note asked for. A missed size is a reorder problem, and the monthly list is the place it shows up, while you still have the box.
