Booster Pads Sold as Their Own Pack

An older woman at a kitchen counter looks at a white pouch and a plain white box.

Booster pads are easy to leave off a reorder because they are not the brief. They are their own pack. You buy them to lay inside a brief or a pull-up, not to take the brief’s place. If the shopping list has one line, “underwear,” the boosters disappear until someone notices the brief feels different and the booster box is empty.

Give the booster its own line: name, size or length, the adhesive words the listing uses, and the count on the unit you are paying for. The brief keeps a separate line and a separate count. Merge the lines and one of the two packs gets dropped on the next reorder.

What the booster pack is counting

The booster count is a count of inserts. A 4-count and a 16-count brief empty on different schedules. A 200-count case is a much larger pile of inserts than a small brief bag. Write the number on the unit in the cart, and write “case” when the page is a case, so 200 is not read as a single sleeve.

NorthShore EternaDry Booster Pads with Adhesive, Small, 4 Count, is sold as a booster insert. The adhesive strip is meant to sit inside protective underwear or a brief. Amazon showed that recorded price of $6.99 when the article was written. NorthShore 4-count booster listing. Small and 4 count are the two facts that keep this from being swapped for a bulk case of a longer pad.

Check the Amazon listing before buying; its price, count, and size may have changed since this article was written.

Attends Booster Pads, unisex, one size, 3.5 by 11 inches, 24 count in a pack of 8, are listed as pads that adhere to the core of another Attends product to add capacity. Amazon showed that recorded price of $52.32 when the article was written. Attends booster listing. Copy 3.5 by 11, one size, and look twice at 24 count versus pack of 8 before you assume how many inserts arrive.

A case count is still a booster, not a brief

Tranquility TopLiner Booster Pads, Super, 15 by 4.25 inches, come as a 200 count case. The page calls them a flow-through booster that fills first and then passes extra fluid into a brief or pull-on. Adhesive strip, latex-free cloth-like cover. Amazon showed that recorded price of $62.99 when the article was written. Tranquility TopLiner case listing.

The case is a stack of inserts. You still need the brief or pull-up in the same order, at its own count, because the case has no tabs and no waistband. Set a 200-count booster case next to a 14-count or 16-count brief and the brief is the pack you will buy again first. Remind yourself on the brief line. Raising the booster number does not refill briefs.

The flow-through sentence is the page’s description of this insert working with an outer product. It is a layering claim on that listing. The brief or pull-up stays on the order beside it.

The Attends listing says the booster adheres to other Attends products. The NorthShore listing says inside protective underwear or a brief. The Tranquility page says a brief or pull-on. Read the partner words on the booster you are actually buying, and order that pairing.
